I had a bad habit of removing rings before washing them after using restroom.  I left it on the sink of a rest area restroom in Wisconsin or Minnesota.  My family was returning home on vacation.  By the time I realized I had misplaced it, we were probably an hour away from the rest area and my father would not turn around to retrieve it.  He figured it would have been stolen by that time; however, who would want a ring they couldn't wear, different high school name, trojan and different stone most likely.
