Additional Information

I was dating a girl from my high school. I gave her the ring to wear. I had already graduated, but she was still attending the school. One day while her family was away, their house was burglarized and one of the items they took was the ring. Later the police arrested several men connected to a well organized ring and some property was recovered, but my ring was not with the stolen goods. I have always theorized that since the ring didn’t contain any gold, it was discarded by the thieves.
I know that ever recovering it is a long shot, but I always wondered where it ended up.
